STATEMENT OF FAITH
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that there is one God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that every person should “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength… and your neighbor as yourself.” Accordingly, Christians are to afford every person love, compassion, kindness, respect, and dignity regardless of differences involving beliefs, or cultures.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life; and they that are lost unto the resurrection of condemnation.
GOD
We believe that there is one true God.
We believe in the Trinity and that God eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a life on earth holy and perfect, without sin, and died a sacrificial death on a cross for our sins. By the power of God, He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God where forever He lives to intercede for His people. We believe in His personal return in power and glory.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe the Holy Spirit is active in regeneration, convicting us of sin and drawing us to the Savior and continues the work of spiritual growth. The Holy Spirit dwells in the hearts of those who are saved and produces in us the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, the only rule of faith and practice. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God and as such, the Bible shall be instructional and provide guidance in all matters of the organization.
SALVATION
We believe that salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that all who respond to the gospel in faith will be saved. Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
SERVANT LEADERS
We believe that as followers of Jesus Christ we are called to serve God through serving others. We should model our lives after the life of Christ, in that the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.
HEAVEN
We believe that God will judge the living and the dead. We believe that heaven is the everlasting reward and the eternal home of all believers. We believe that every person who hears the gospel has a choice to accept Christ and spend eternity with Him in heaven, or to reject Him and spend eternity apart from Him (hell).

We believe that all of the above are the foundational beliefs upon which Colorado Christian Academy is based and will be taught throughout all grade levels. All Directors, Board, and school staff must subscribe to these foundational principles. However, this Statement of Faith is not the extent of our faith and the Bible is the final source of all that we believe.
